FRG - Proportionator/Zero Governor

Description The DUNGS FRG 7…/6 proportionator/zero governor has an adjustable set point spring and a nonadjustable counter spring. The DUNGS FRG 7…/6 is recommended for industrial and commercial heating applications. It is suitable for natural gas, propane, butane, and other inert gases.

Application (Proportionator) Holds a constant gas/air ratio by varying gas flow to the burner in proportion to combustion air flow. Adjustable ratio for excess gas or air operation.

Application (Zero Governor) Controls fuel by reducing incoming gas pressure to zero or by adjusting it to slightly above or below atmospheric pressure.

  • MAX OPERATING PRESSURE: 7 PSI (500 mbar) CE; 5 PSI (360 mbar) CSA
  • OPTIMAL INPUT PRESSURE RANGE: 2 TO 82 IN. W.C. (5 TO 200 mbar)
  • OUTPUT PRESSURE RANGE: 4 TO 60 IN. W.C. (10 TO 150 mbar)
  • TEMPERATURE RATING: +5 °F TO + 160 °F (-15 °C TO + 70 °C)

    Zero Governor Specifications
  • MAX OPERATING PRESSURE: 7 PSI (500 mbar) (5 PSI CSA)
  • OPTIMAL INPUT PRESSURE RANGE: 2 TO 20 IN. W.C. (10 TO 150 mbar)
  • OUTPUT PRESSURE RANGE: -2 TO 2 IN. W.C. (-5 TO 5 mbar)
  • TEMPERATURE RATING: +5 °F TO + 160 °F (-15 °C TO + 70 °C)
